  • March 2024 MGN Alaris Consulting supports JETVAR, a Polish start-up offering software that assists in the training of mechanics. Thanks to the developed software, it is possible to create original training materials that allow for the acceleration of the training process and an increase in its effectiveness. The training can be conducted online or on-site. The presentation can be displayed on a traditional monitor or with the help of glasses (VR/AR), which makes it much more attractive to learners.   • February 2024 MGN Alaris Consulting has expanded the scope of its offered training to include human factors instructor training (see the training subpage). The one-day training focuses primarily on issues concerning the content of initial and recurrent (refresher) training, as well as the role of the training itself in building a safety system within an aviation organization, including the role of safety culture and its reinforcement. Topics related to human factor management are also discussed. The course is conducted as a one-day training, and the preferred format is on-site.
  • December 2023 After several months of intensive work, together with the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering and TUV Nord Polska, we managed to approve new postgraduate studies at MEiL. Studies entitled Safety management in aviation will concern SMS and are addressed primarily to employees of design, production, maintenance and continuing airworthiness management companies. Graduates of the studies will also receive a Safety Manager Certificate, which will be issued by TUV Nord Polska. The studies are planned to be carried out over a two-semester cycle, and the classes will include seven modules (list below) and a total of 200 hours of lectures and exercises.
    The course program will be conducted in a lecture and workshop format:

  • September 2023 We would like to inform you that we have expanded the scope of our training courses to include “First Product Inspection (FAI) in accordance with the requirements of AS9102.
  • January 2023 We would like to inform you that we have expanded the scope of the training we offer to include training on the CAO organization in accordance with Regulation 1321/2014. The training lasts 16 hours.
  • October 2022 Due to the changes introduced by EASA in regulations 748/2012 and 1321/2014, which require design, production and maintenance organizations to implement safety management systems (SMS), we have developed supplementary training for the above-mentioned organizations and a concept of the scope of necessary changes and SMS implementation.
  • September 2022 On September 30, we completed the project POWR.02.15.00-00-2031/20 entitled “Vocational training 31) air transport industry (TLO)”. In the period July-September this year. we have developed reports summarizing the entire project. these documents contain a description of the activities carried out, their evaluation, an assessment of the usefulness of the designed tools, as well as conclusions and recommendations regarding a broad aspect of education in aviation professions. These documents will be available in the “EU projects” tab for at least 5 years, as this is required by the contract provisions. We invite everyone to read our studies and contact us if necessary. You can contact us via the mailbox available on the hunting website or through the Association of Aviation Vocational Schools, with which we cooperate. As part of this cooperation, we have planned additional activities that are the result of the collected experience and are intended to support schools and their teachers in their difficult work.
  • August 2022 Due to the end of pilot internships for the professions of avionics technician, airport operational services technician and aircraft mechanic technician, we have again sent revised internship models to all schools teaching these professions. All interested parties can obtain these internships from our website using the links included in the information from July and June this year. We are currently preparing to summarize the projects and will be contacting schools to hear their views on the proposed models. School representatives who have had the opportunity to see our models and would like to share their comments with us are asked to contact us via e-mail or messenger on our home page.
  • July 2022 Below we attach an updated version of the student internship model for the Airport Operational Services Technician profession. in the update, we took into account the experience gained during the pilot internship of students of this profession. The other two models are available below because we were able to update them earlier and announce them last month. In the internship model for TLSO, we used the same principles of marking and describing changes as in the other two models. We maintain our request to all interested persons to download this document, read it and provide us with any possible comments.

  • June 2022 Due to the end of pilot internships for the avionics technician and aircraft mechanic technician professions, we attach the changed models below this information. Our project is implemented as part of the POWR.02.15.00-00-2031/20 project entitled “Vocational training 31) air transport industry (TLO)” co-financed by the European Social Fund under the Knowledge Education Development Operational Program 2014-2020. In December 2021, we obtained the approval of MEiN experts for all three projects of student internship models for the professions of avionics technician and airport technician. operational services and aircraft mechanic technician. The changes made to the models are not major, but we hope that they have improved the quality of these documents. To facilitate reading and identification of changes in each model, we have placed a table of changes behind the table of contents, and we have marked all changes in the text with a vertical line placed in the outer margin. The revised version of the third model will be published at the turn of June and July. The two models below were also sent to all secondary schools offering aviation education. We would like to ask all interested persons to download these documents, read them and submit their comments to us.

  • The third planned internship for students training to become airport operational services technicians started in mid-May and ended on June 10. The internship finally took place at the Lublin Airport in Świdnik after changing the location four times, caused first by the pandemic and then by the war in Ukraine. 8 students from the T. Rylski School Complex No. 3 in Rzeszów took part in the internship.
  • April 2022 In April, we completed a student internship for the profession of aircraft mechanical technician. The internship took place in Warsaw in the line service department of Linetech S.A. and 7 students from Technical Secondary School No. 9 in Warsaw took part in it. Due to the end of internships in two similar professional groups (avionics technician and aircraft mechanic technician), we are starting to verify the student internship models and will publish them in May or early June. The models will be made available on this website and will be sent to all schools providing education in any of the aviation professions, i.e. avionics technician, airport operational services technician and aircraft mechanic technician.
  • February 2022 We are pleased to inform you that as part of the POWR.02.15.00-00-2031/20 project “Vocational training 31) air transport industry (TLO)”, co-financed by the European Social Fund under the Knowledge Education Development Operational Program 2014-2020, we began implementing student internships. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic limited our activities. Of the internships planned for the winter school break for three professions – avionics technician, airport operational services technician and aircraft mechanic technician – we only managed to carry out a pilot for students training as avionics technicians. The internship for aircraft mechanic technicians was initiated, but given the ongoing COVID risk we decided to delay its physical implementation by a few weeks until the pandemic eased. For airport operational services technician trainees the internships did not start at all, since the airports where we had planned to run them would not allow any outside visitors on site. The internship for future avionics technicians took place in Katowice, in the hangar of Linetech S.A.; 8 students from Technikum No. 4 named after Maria Skłodowska-Curie in Bytom took part.

  • January 2022 We are pleased to inform you that, as part of the POWR.02.15.00-00-2031/20 project “Vocational training 31) air transport industry (TLO)” co-financed by the European Social Fund under the Knowledge Education Development Operational Program 2014-2020, we obtained the approval of MEiN experts for all three student internship program models, for the professions of avionics technician, airport operational services technician and aircraft mechanic technician. We kindly ask all interested parties to download these documents, review them and share their comments with us. Each model contains a description of the theoretical basis we used to develop the proposed solutions, the models themselves, recommendations on ensuring the quality of internship delivery, and recommendations developed by the whole team involved in the project, together with proposed agreement templates that may be used when preparing internships. The document closes with a list of the relevant legal acts. While developing the models we ran into the problem of the many possible solutions arising from market conditions and the specifics of individual aviation companies, so we want to strongly emphasise that these are only proposals for specific internship scenarios – the solutions you apply in your own case may differ considerably from what is contained in the studies below. According to our team, the most important element of running an internship is what we call the “four-step” – reflecting the process of teaching, then preparing to carry out a specific task, its physical execution, and finally its closing/summary. The proposed model solution (see chapter 4) is applied to all three professions. The materials provided can already be used, since art. 121a of the Education Law is already in force. The documents are not subject to copyright, since the project’s funding comes from the state budget and these rights pass automatically to the Ministry of Education and Science. We would be grateful for any comments and suggestions, as requested above. At the same time, we are happy to help if you, your students, or the aviation companies you work with would like to take the opportunity to organise a student internship. Having worked on the models for the past six months, we have gained considerable experience with this tool and are glad to share it with you. We also hope to be physically present at your association of technical schools’ meeting planned for April this year in Poznań (April 6-8).

  • January 2022 As part of the POWR.02.15.00-00-2031/20 project “Vocational training 31) air transport industry (TLO)”, we are preparing to run student internships in four locations: two groups of avionics technicians in one location, two groups of aircraft mechanic technicians also in one location, and one group of airport operational services technicians in each of two further locations. The internships are planned to take place during the winter school break next month.

  • November 2021 The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) published EU Regulation 2021/1963 amending EU Regulation 1321/2014. The changes concern Annexes I (Part M), II (Part 145) and Vb (Part ML). Most of the changes concern Part 145, and within it the introduction of a requirement for maintenance organizations to implement an SMS – a safety management system. This change had been announced for a long time, but its scope is wider than could have been expected.   • July 2021 MGN Alaris Consulting is looking for an author for a pilot internship program for the profession of airport operational services technician. Anyone with experience in vocational education for young people, or teachers of the airport trade willing to take on such a task, is asked to get in touch via the messenger found at the bottom of the homepage. The author’s fee is significant.
  • June 2021 Making progress in our project of developing and testing student internship programs to be implemented by secondary schools in Poland in a course of teaching three professional groups: aircraft mechanic technician, avionics technician and airport operating services technician, we initiated the activity of a team of experts. The team was composed of six people from industry and four representatives of schools. At the same time, an internal discussion forum was initiated, which is to help in the implementation of the entire project and facilitate contacts between the authors of internship programs, experts representing industry and schools, and the team managing the entire project. In the near future, representatives of other schools that are not represented by experts will have access to the forum. Unfortunately, the forum will not be accessible to the public. Our experience in this area is extremely negative and, not wanting to allow naughty posts and all kinds of trolls to appear, we decided to keep the forum closed. We are sorry.   • April 2021 MGN Alaris Consulting together with Projekt Plus started the implementation of a European project aimed at developing and verifying vocational training programs implemented by secondary schools as part of teaching in three professions: aircraft mechanic technician, avionics technician and airport operating services technician.
    The duration of the entire project is planned for 18 months.

  • December 2020 In connection with the prevailing pandemic and the growing threats resulting from it, our training in the field of the human factor has been extended to include elements of the impact of a pandemic on the human psyche, symptoms that can be observed, methods of coping with long-term stress and the impact of these phenomena on the safety of air operations.
  • October 2020 In connection with the COVID-19 pandemic and the growing impact of this phenomenon on us, we expanded the scope of training on the Human Factor for the issue of the impact of the pandemic on employees of aviation companies and the possibility of influencing the level of aviation safety.
  • August 2020 For several weeks, I was inactive because I supported the activities of the Sector Council for Aviation and Space Industry Competence as coordinator of the aviation part of the project. On September 15, I will end my cooperation with the Council when two recommendations are prepared.

    The first is an emergency recommendation dedicated to airlines to help them get through the pandemic and then overcome the crisis. If you are interested in details, please visit the website of PARP or the Małopolska Regional Development Agency, which will be the operator in the draft of the extraordinary recommendation.

    The second is a recommendation, which is already ordinary, and focuses on supporting aviation organizations and personnel in the field of training and competence development. At present, several trainings are prepared, but the recommendation is open and further trainings may be added. At the moment, I cannot indicate the date and place of publication of this recommendation.
  • May 2020 We have developed a project of measures to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the area of ​​aviation in cooperation with the Council for the Competence of the Aerospace Industry. The plan was approved by PARP (which oversees the process of establishing and operating competence councils) and currently the Council is awaiting the allocation of funds by the Agency for the implementation of these activities. As part of the proposed activities, a number of market analyzes, launching assistance for dismissed people and analyzes of maintaining the level of security in the event of the need to limit the scope of activities, dismissal of employees and suspension of activities are planned.

    MGN Alaris Consulting prepared a presentation on black swans (very rare but with very serious consequences), and the behavior of QM / Compliance cells and SMS in an emergency not foreseen in the Emergency Action Plan (ERP). The training is available in the form of a webinar and a normal presentation at the client’s site.

    In mid-May, MGN Alaris Consulting will extend the scope of its services to one-day training in the supervision of counterfeit parts (fraud parts).

  • March 2020 EASA published a new version of the “eRules consolidated Regulation” containing changes resulting from the regulations published last year (2019/1383 and 2019/1384) and this year (2020/270). The current version of Easy Access Rules for Continuing Airworthiness is still dated April 2019 and does not contain any changes to the regulations, nor the newly issued AMC and GM for Part CAMO and CAO and Part ML. In connection with the publication of consultancy materials for Part CAMO on March 13, I would like to inform you that we are resuming offering training for organizations of continuing airworthiness management. We would like to remind you that the period for implementing the changes in accordance with the EU Regulation 2019/1142 is limited to 12 months and in the spring of next year all Part M / G certificates will automatically expire.
